Guest Room Makeover: Bringing Nature Indoors

When tasked with transforming a guest room that was entirely off-white into a space
that exudes warmth, character, and a connection to nature, we embraced the client's
love for greenery and the outdoors. The goal was clear: create a "wow" factor while
making the room feel inviting and serene.
To maximize the room's potential, we reconfigured the layout to offer a direct view of the garden. This subtle change not only enhanced the room's ambiance but also
allowed natural light to flood the space, creating a tranquil retreat.
The focal point of the transformation was the introduction of a botanical wallpaper
featuring lush plants and trees. This feature wall brought the outdoors inside,
infusing the room with a vibrant, yet calming, energy.
In line with sustainable design practices, we chose to recover the existing furniture.
By reupholstering and adding colour, we gave these pieces a new lease on life,
ensuring the room felt fresh and personalized without the environmental impact of
purchasing new items.
To complete the look, we incorporated elements that enhanced both comfort and
style. Soft, layered bedding, carefully selected lighting, and strategically placed
accessories all contributed to a space that guests would be eager to relax in.
